A buddy of mine from work, Chris, sent me an email about a Boot Camp for New Dad’s. I am going to include an excerpt from from that email:
So yeah, I went to the Boot Camp for New Dads a few months ago and absolutely loved the class. It was very down to Earth, and it really helps you understand what you can expect your first few years as a dad. Most of the dads-to-be come into it with a thousand yard stare, and leave feeling much more confident and relieved about what's coming up. I went back after my little boy (Jackson) was about two months old to help out with a class, and I've been asked to come back and instruct some classes in the future. The website for the national organization is http://www.bootcampfornewdads.org/index.php and you can sign up for classes here in Atlanta at Northside Hospital's page here: http://www.northside.com/classes_events/Maternity_Parenting_Classes_3.aspx
Sounds awesome, I’m going to check into the dates and get back to everyone!
